Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 30, 2026
Lead Hatcher ("we," "us") provides lead-capture landing pages and owner notification services for small businesses. This policy describes how we handle information when you use our website and services.
Information we collect
- Business owners: name, email address, mobile phone number, consent records (including timestamp, IP address, and consent text), and alert preferences when you complete owner setup at
/setup/[token]. - Leads (end customers): information submitted on a business's campaign landing page, such as name, phone number, email, and form answers, plus TCPA consent records where applicable.
- Technical data: IP address, browser user agent, and referer on form submissions, used for consent verification and security.
How we use information
We use collected information to:
- Deliver leads to the business that owns the landing page
- Send owner notifications the business has opted into (daily email digests and/or instant SMS alerts when a new lead is saved)
- Maintain consent and opt-out records required for compliance
- Operate, secure, and improve the Lead Hatcher platform
SMS and mobile phone numbers
Business owners may opt in to receive automated text message alerts from Lead Hatcher when new leads submit their landing page. Message frequency varies depending on lead volume — messages are sent only when a new lead is saved, not on a fixed schedule.
Message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
You can cancel SMS alerts at any time by replying STOP to a message from Lead Hatcher. We will send a confirmation and stop sending instant SMS alerts to that number. To turn text alerts back on, reply START or UNSTOP from the same phone number. Reply HELP or INFO for program details.
We do not share, sell, or provide your mobile phone number, opt-in information, or messaging consent data to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
We use service providers (such as Twilio for SMS and Resend for email) solely to deliver messages you have opted into. They process your information only on our behalf to operate the service, not for their own marketing.
Payments and billing (Standard)
Self-serve business owners who subscribe to Standard enter payment information on Stripe's hosted checkout page. We receive Stripe customer and subscription identifiers and billing status from Stripe — we do not store full credit or debit card numbers on Lead Hatcher servers.
Billing, invoices, and subscription cancellation for Standard are managed through Stripe's Customer Portal (Manage billing). Stripe processes payments as our payment processor. See our Terms of Service for trial, renewal, and cancellation rules.
Email notifications
Owners who opt in to daily email digests receive a summary of new leads. You may turn off digest email from your alert preferences link or re-enable alerts through owner setup.
Data retention
We retain lead and consent records for as long as needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations, and resolve disputes. Businesses may request deletion subject to applicable law and legitimate business needs.
Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect data in transit and at rest. No method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.
Children
Lead Hatcher is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the revised policy on this page with an updated date.
